Bertrand Products, Inc is a manufacturer of aircraft components and assemblies serving the aerospace industry in the US and Canada. Bertrand Products, Inc. is located in South Bend, Indiana.
COMPANY HISTORY
Bertrand Products, Inc. began in 1953 by Victor Miller. The company located in Bertrand Township in Niles, Michigan, thus the name Bertrand Products was born. In 1978, Mr. Miller moved the company to its present location, 2323 Foundation Drive, South Bend, IN.
Twelve years later in 1990, Victor Miller sold 30% of the company to the employees thus becoming an Employee Owned Company. In 1995, the remaining 70% of the stock was sold to the employee and Bertrand became a 100% ESOP.
In 2001, Paul Bonin and Dennis Jennings purchased the company from the employees. The many years as an ESOP benefited the employees towards their retirement. In 2004, Paul Bonin became sole owner of Bertrand Products, Inc.
